You will report functionally to the head of subsea pipeline engineering and operationally to the engineer in charge of these project activities. The material coordinator is in charge of the interface between the technical teams (engineering) and purchasing.
Your missions will be carried out mainly around two main axes: the development of a list of equipment for purchases (MTO), and the realization and follow-up of "project requisition (PR)" documents.
you will identify and list all the material needs of the tender or project based on the documentation provided by the client or the different technical actors mobilized on the project. You will evaluate the quantities, dimensions and weights of the different elements, as well as their main technical characteristics.
you will interface between the different disciplines in order to collect information to confirm the different hypotheses.
you will organize this information in a database.
you will be required to write reports in word representative format and analyze this data
you will then carry out the "Project requisition" ensuring that the standards and constraints of the different departments are respected. You will thus be brought to lead or work:
On the basis of "Requisition" documents provided by the engineering teams, via the SAP database.
Searching and classifying different information such as: product code, purchase and delivery date, WBS, budget correspondence, etc.
The monitoring of "PR" consists mainly of a permanent update of:
- of the progress of the tenders,
- development and refinement of engineering design
- specifications as they are developed by the project team,
- Requisitions, lists of materials and their amendments.
Profile and skills:
Ideally with a general engineering background, you are comfortable with numbers and databases.
You have a passion for our industry, the motivation to join us, and you want to learn the specifics of the profession.
You are rigorous, you pay attention to detail and you like to deliver work of impeccable quality and presentation.
You have a sense of organization and a systemic approach.
You are proactive and are able to retrieve the information necessary to progress your work on time and in hours
communicate clearly in English and French, both written and spoken.

Preferably, you are familiar with SAP software.
The position is based in Saint Quentin en Yvelines, France.
