Role Definition

o     Responsible for coordination support to  site manager of following The Tenderer provided services


  • Offshore Installation Coordination
  • Marine Coordination
  • Site QHSE Management
  • Support Services (site office administration, site facilities supervision, - port, offices and warehousing - offshore technician service, client representative service)


o     Ensure continuously site operation in a smooth and non-interrupted continuation of construction works under the responsibility of Construction Management and the  Site Management.


o     Support with coordination between Installation, Commissioning and hand over to  O&M organization (assist with hand overs, transfer of responsibilities and offshore daily planning), interfaces between installation contractors and commissioning as stated below:


  • Management of day to day installation interfaces between contractors.
  • Detection of disruptions - especially with interferences to the overall project schedule.
  • Development of measures to avoid disrupted workflows.
  • Distribution and presentations to Project Management, offshore installation managers, work package leads, lead commissioning manager, yard supervisors, if necessary
  • Review of the success of the distributed measures
  • Adjustment of the measures if necessary


o     Supporting to general project scheduling, progress tracking & reporting, development of measures.


  • Supporting the process to define an optimized project schedule for the Installation
  • Follow up the OIM schedule
  • Continuously examination of the status of the OIM works in relation to the schedule
  • Detection of possible disruptions - especially with interferences to the overall OIM schedule
  • Development of measures with the involved FWPs and OIMs to avoid disrupted workflows
  • Review of the success of the distributed measures
  • Adjustment of the measures if necessary
  • Ensure that documents and procedures are implemented and kept updated, including but not limited to: Site Management Manual, H&S plan, Environmental Plan, Lead Marine Coordinator Manual, Offshore Installation Manual, and other site required documents
  • French content management and reporting


o     Support with hand over between contractors and to the Operation & Maintenance Department if necessary.


  • Evaluation and planning of requirements
  • Communication and direction of necessary requirements to involved departments
  • Supervision of the status of works from different departments who have to work on detailed issues
  • Permanent reconcilement of the status and requirements with the Operation & Maintenance Department
  • Evaluation of the final hand over date and reconcilement with the Operation & Maintenance Department
  • Implement the Internal Hand over between packages. Led by Lead Offshore Installation Management.


o     Participation on regular coordination meetings for ensuring the continuous and smooth delivery of services provided.

o     Offshore Installation Management meetings

  • Preparation and leading the meetings
  • Writing the minutes of meeting
  • Supervision of the different actions


o     Tasks

  • Prepare, Update, and propose a Service Resource Allocation Plan
  • Implement the OIM Manual, including organisation and responsibilities
  • Implement on site the existing document management system, including a document register
  • Implement vision, values, common goals and standards for the OIM organisation
  • Support with managing the establishment of the site area and setting up of the site facilities
  • Support with overall managing, planning and coordination of OIM organisation and activities
  • Support with coordination of logistics (marine coordination wise at the offshore site), installation and commissioning activities, including transfer to O&M
  • Support with implementation procedures ensuring a structured handling of installation interfaces between OIM related issues and FWPs
  • Support with specific services, according to generic Site & Commissioning organisation
  • Follow up on and input for the revision of the time schedules for OIM organisation and activities
  • Implement reporting and following-up procedures, including meeting structure
  • Support with preparation and implementation plan and routines for maintenance of site facilities, demobilisation and re-establishment of areas, including reuse for other projects
  • Feed Lessons Learned system and other relevant knowledge sharing processes to ensure implementation of good practice from other projects


o     Documented experience within project, onshore and offshore construction management

o     Experience, knowledge and competence equivalent to PMI PMP

o     3 years of experience required in similar roles in offshore wind


Working shift :

  • For the pre-construction phase (site readiness): Monday to Friday
  • For the construction phase: Work rotation to be defined by tenderer

Working hour per day:

  • For the pre-construction phase (site readiness): 8 hours
  • For the construction phase: 10 hours
