Requirements:

• Experience in analyses and design of offshore structures 
• Ability to create and verify FEM models of fixed offshore structures (jackets and topsides)
• Experience developing and executing analysis of offshore structures in-place (in-service, fatigue, seismic ) and temporary conditions (lifting, transportation, load out, launch) in accordance with ISO 19900 series standards and API RP2A
• Working knowledge of Eurocode 3 and AISC rules

Desirable skills:

• Experience in structural design of floating platform topsides
• Pushover collapse analysis 
• Use of USFOS software
• Structural Integrity Management and lifetime extension of offshore platforms
• Developing feasibility studies
• Ability to make critical choice, stakeholder engagement 

 

Software skills: 

• Good knowledge of DNVGL SESAM suite (GeniE , Wajac, SESTRA, Framework) 

 

Qualification:

• Relevant Engineering Degree

Remote working possible,

base UK post C19

Start date : ASAP

Duration : 12 months extendable (long term assignment)
